ASSOCIATE DEGREE IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

CROWN PROFFESIONAL COLLEGE offers comprehensive Associate of Science degree programs designed to prepare students for Careers in the Engineering field.
The Associate in engineering degree is a professional program that prepares students to transfer to a four-year college or University offering a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. These programs provide qualified men and women the opportunity to prepare themselves for careers in the related Engineering disciplines. It also prepare individuals at an entry-to-industry level of competence for gainful employment in the field of Engineering  in positions with Engineering firms, construction companies, Utility Companies, Petroleum Industries, Aluminum Industries, just to mention but a few.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
To be admitted to the Engineering Technology programs, applicants must attain the following standard:
5 CXC or GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English, Mathematics and Physics,
                              OR
Pre- Engineering Course (PEC) of study at prescribed level.
                              OR
Diploma from other recognized institutions
                              OR
Mature candidate who have completed Secondary School Education with supporting certificates and at least 3 years work experience in the area of study.

Program Structure
The Engineering Technology program is structured on a modular format allowing attendance on full-time or part-time on a fifteen (15) weeks semester modality. The program will be delivered mainly by a mix  of lectures, laboratory, tutorials, field work, seminars and activities geared towards self-paced, project oriented, self-directed learning in both the crown campus and the related environment for learning.


The program offers a comprehensive Two (2) years Associate of Science Degree in the selected Engineering discipline.
